Official County Family Court Provider

Axis DNA Labs is a proud partner of Jefferson County, the largest county in the State of Alabama.  We are the official provider of genetic testing to Jefferson County Family Court; we also have an office location inside the courthouse.

We are registered as a genetic testing vendor for the federal government.  Our SAM unique entity ID is C1MTUV6CWB67.

We are certified by the State of Alabama as a minority woman-owned business.  In fact, we are Alabama’s only certified minority woman-owned genetic testing company.

State-Approved Vendor

We are formally registered as a genetic testing vendor for the states of Alabama and Georgia.  We are also registered with the Alabama Minority Vendor Program, the state’s premier vendor access and bid assistance program for minority-owned companies.

AABB-Accredited Testing

For years, we have provided, chain-of-custody DNA relationship testing services to clients with cases pending in numerous county family courts or with DHR.  For all of our court-ordered or DHR-requested DNA testing, we use facilities that are accredited by AABB to conduct legal, chain-of-custody testing.  AABB stands for Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (formerly the American Association of Blood Banks).
