BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) - We've all seen some funky things on gas station shelves but for most, "novelty urine" would be a first.

ABC 33/40's Andrew Donley picked some up at a local gas station to put the pee to a clinical-grade test at Axis DNA Labs (formerly Birmingham's DNA and Drug Testing Center)….

Is your DNA testing secure? DNA testing privacy concerns grow

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - On average about 20 people a week show up to the Axis DNA Labs (formerly Birmingham DNA Center), where their DNA samples are collected.

"We do paternity testing, ancestry testing and immigration testing," said Terri Northcutt, who works for the DNA Center.

But what happens to your DNA once it's been collected and shipped off to a lab?…
